In fourth grade, our main objective is to develop the basic skills of reading, math, and language which will lead to success on TAAS. The students also develop their critical and creative thinking skills by involving them in problem-solving activities in math and real life situations. Throughout the year, the students are taught to prepare for the future.  They are encouraged to respect themselves and others, and are guided in worki ng collaboratively with each other, their parents, and teachers.  These students are also introduced to the world of technology through the use of computer in the classroom. Finally, we try to instill in our students a love for reading and an eagerness for learning.
