The fifth
grade teachers extend the instruction of prior years. It is also
their
responsibility
to prepare the students for secondary education. Such preparations
are for the
students to become more of an independent learner. We feel the level
of difficulty
in TAAS has increased therefore our main focus is broadening their
vocabulary,
teaching new math concepts and do projects to pique their interest in
content areas.
