The Kinder goals are to develop
Oral Language and Listening skills by using rhymes and retelling stories.
In Reading the students are expected to learn the names of the letters
and their sounds, syllables and decoding simple words. Writing skills
are developed by the students writing their own name and other important
words and also by writing simple sentences. In Math, students learn
the recognition and writing of numbers to 20, counting by 1's to 100, adding
and subtracting simple problems. Social Studies and Science concepts
are also developed through the curriculum.
