Our library serves the needs of students and staff by providing an inviting place to read for enjoyment and do research. All classes, pre-k through fifth, visit the library once a week on a scheduled basis.  There is ample time available for individual and small group research.  The library supports the Accelerated Reader program with over 1,000 books on the A.R. reading list.  Testing is done in the classrooms for first through fifth grades. Top readers are rewarded with prizes and get to do fun activities like going to the movies or an amusement park at the end of each semester.  Trophies and certificates are awarded to the three top readers in each grade level.  Our school is now networked and each classroom has access to the Internet.  The library has eight computers available for students and staff to do research.  We also added new tables and chairs this year, which really livened up the look of the library.
