Student Council provides
opportunities to young students to develop leadership skills and to serve
as a positive role model for other students. It offers encouragement
and support to practice leadership skills as they become active member
of our school and community. Two representatives
are elected by their classmates. Meetings are scheduled twice a month
on Tuesdays from 3:00-3:30 p.m. (On special projects, the schedule
may change.) Student Council consists of a President, a Vice President,
a Secretary, and a Treasurer. Each officer is responsible for planning
and implementing projects, meetings, etc. Also, each officer is responsible
for their duties. Some Student
