Bonham Elementary is proud to have been rated an exemplary school for three consecutive years by the Texas Education Agency and the Department of Accountability and School Accreditation.  Since 1996 Bonham students have scored 90% or above in Reading,Writing and Math on the state test, Texas Assessment of Academic Skills (T.A.A.S.) which is administered yearly to third, fourth and fifth grade.
