The Business Services Office is responsible for providing information regarding the budgeting functions of the McAllen Independent School District. The Business Services Office assists in fulfilling the financial needs of the District and has a stewardship role in the District’s financial resources.

Primary duties/responsibilities of the Business Services Office include:

• Budgetary Support for all Campuses
• Budgetary Support for all Special Revenues Funds/Grants
• Budgetary Support for all Central Office Departments
• Preparation and Balancing of the District’s annual budget
• Reporting of the District’s Annual Budgeted Financial Data to TEA through PEIMS
• Monitoring of correct coding, balances, and uses of the District’s revenues & expenses
• Reports to the Board of Trustees throughout the year on budget matters
• Budget Preparation Booklet publication
• Budget Users Maintenance.
