14th Annual Technology Conference

You are cordially invited to attend the Region One Education Service Center’s 14th Annual Technology Conference at South Padre Island Convention Center, South Padre Island, Texas. This event is scheduled for May 13-15, 2008.

The registration booklet is now posted on our conference website and registration is now open. Copies can be printed from our conference website. In addition, if any staff is interested in presenting a mini-session at the conference, please share the mini-session presenter proposal form located on the website as well.

Approximately 100 nationally known exhibitors will attend the conference. A total of 15 full day or half-day workshops are scheduled for May 13, 2008, and a total of approximately 100 mini-sessions will be held hourly throughout the day on May 14-15, 2008. Sessions will focus on best practices in technology integration in several strands including curriculum/TEKS, multimedia, technology applications, general, library, distance learning, assistive technology, technical and leadership.

The first 1000 pre-registered participants will receive a gym bag and clipboard and will be eligible to win valuable door prizes throughout the 2 ½ days. Early registration is strongly encouraged!
