April’s Showers Should Bring
Flowers |
|
Instead
of sending students out to raise money for school programs with a
box of grade B candy bars, or a catalogue offering overpriced
knick-knacks and scented candles, try involving them selling bulbs
that will produce beautiful tulips, daffodils, or hyacinths. The
National Garden Association
endorses the
Dutch Bulb
fundraiser, which enables participants to earn 50 percent of the
profits. And, for contributors, each bulb order comes with
instructions for planting and care.
A
free fundraising kit is available with brochures, collection
envelopes, a chairperson checklist, and a master order sheet. To
find out more, call (888) 838-1093, or visit
http://www.dutchgardens.com/CustomerService/fundraising.asp . |
