At the heart of any economy lies the banking institution.  With assistance from one of our Partners in Excellence, our Micro-Society has opened a micro-branch in International Bank of Commerce (I.B.C.).  The bank teaches children the value of money and allows them the opportunity to understand how the bank works as well as providing them with the experience of working in a bank.  These workers learn to count Cougar Cash, make change, interact with peers and staff, write out deposit slips, withdrawal slips, and checks, they calculate interest on loans and savings account, and they keep track of student deposits and withdrawals.
