Future teachers consists of 5th grade students who applied for this position.  They completed a job application and were interviewed before selected, just as all of our other businesses.  The students were assigned to any teacher/staff member who requested a future teacher.  Each teacher gives on the job training to the student for what they will be doing in that particular classroom.  The students either tutor, read with students, or help with other tasks.  Future teachers work on certain days.  The students keep logs which keep track of what students are doing and how much they work.  The Future Teacher organization prepares the students for a future job in this area.  Students in this organization  learn the importance of an education and learn to value teachers more when they see all that they do for the children.
