Just as in real life, Houstonville citizens pay taxes to the Internal Revenue Service.  Each month, students pay a portion of the Cougar Cash they have earned to the I.R.S.  Our student I.R.S. workers are responsible for collecting the correct amount from each student and keeping track of the tax records necessary to run the I.R.S.
