VISION & MISSION
Jackson's mission is to create, maintain and perpetuate a teaching and learning environment in which students , teachers, administrators and community use technology as a tool for learning.
GOALS:
Provide staff development for faculty
Provide training for staff and students on lab software
Provide internet training for staff and students
Provide opportunities for students and staff to use internet to produce multimedia projects
Provide opportunities for telecollaboration activities
Curriculum:
Curriculum will be supported by the state Technology TEKS
Each class will complete at least one multimedia project
Each class will complete at least 2 internet activities each semester
Some classes may participate in telecollaboration activities
Schedules:
Each class will be scheduled to attend computer classes once a week for instruction/training of software and internet use. Each teacher will then sign up for additional lab time on a weekly basis.
