  1. You may access the catalog on the MISD website: www.mcallenisd.org

 

  1. Select Departments.   Click on “Media Library” to search the database and order on-line.

  1. Items are checked out for one week; however, it is possible to have the time extended, if necessary, by calling our office.

 

  1. Items are sent to the school library by campus mail five days a week.  Please allow two days for your order to reach you.  The date requested should be at least the day before you plan to use the item in class.

 

  1. We are continually adding new titles to the Media Library, so we would welcome suggestions for future additions.  You may also comment on the suitability and/or age level recommendations of current items.

Important Note:  All videocassettes that are marked “FOR HOME USE ONLY” may only be

used during face-to-face instruction in the classroom, as per U.S. copyright guidelines.  These videocassettes may not be used for “reward” purposes, as that constitutes a public performance.
