Milam Elementary is pleased to have an ELD/ELL (English Language Development/English Language Learning) class for the first time during the 2001-2002 school year. Students in this class range from 3rd to 5th grade and are from Mexico and Korea. Learning strategies include songs, manipulatives, games and a host of other activities to teach English oral language. The goal of an ELD/ELL class is to have the students become a part of a regular classroom as quickly as possible.
