Ben Milam's Fifth Grade staff work together to create an active, enriched, and multifaceted learning environment where critical thinking and problem solving go hand in hand to empower all students to become more successful readers, writers, mathematicians, and scientists. Our ultimate goal is to prepare students to be lifelong learners and productive citizens in our world.
The Outdoor Science School, a highlight of our fifth grade year, unites our students in a cooperative environment, creates a climate of respect and caring, and allows our fifth graders to have a truly unique educational experience, in a place where they can learn and grow.
