Victor Garza, Nancie Grossman
The Milam Music classes are taught by Mrs. Nancie Grossman and Mr. Victor Garza. They teach kindergarten through fifth grade. In the music program, all classes do lots of singing, rhythm activities, music games, music listening, and lots of instrument playing (pitched and non-pitched instruments).
At Milam we have a fourth grade choir, fifth grade choir, and fifth grade recorder ensemble. In third and fifth grade, we participate in a district wide music memory contest. Our fourth grade choir performs in March 2002 at the McAllen Civic Center. Our fifth grade choir travels to perform their holiday program.
