As second grade teachers we are especially aware of our critical role in building successful and eager readers. This is a prime time for children to move from "learning to read" to "reading to learn." We will encourage writing skills that help organize and communicate ideas and we will continue to develop meaningful and challenging math skills. Our ultimate goal is to create life-long learners.
