We, at Roosevelt Elementary, are committed to working together to provide each and every student the opportunity to develop skills which will enhance the quality of their lives. Student learning is the shared responsibility of the students, parents, school, and community. Together we will work to ensure that the atmosphere at Roosevelt is one of caring acceptance, where individual differences and cultural affirmations are celebrated. The curriculum is student centered and developmentally appropriate with a focus on active student learning.  Expectations for conduct and achievement are high.  Student success is enhanced by accommodating individual learning styles.  Opportunity for social growth and development is an integral component of the curriculum.  Students graduating from Roosevelt will be highly prepared to meet the exciting challenges of tomorrow. They will be ready to face life's adventures with the skills of independent thinking and problem solving.  Roosevelt Elementary students will grow into productive citizens who will contribute to their families, to our community, and to our society over the course of their lives.
