To improve District and campus strategic planning, all campus professional staff members must complete this online survey. Genuine responses ensure accurate, valid information. If you have any questions regarding this survey, contact your campus IDEA representative, principal, or the Fine Arts Department office at 618-6085.

This survey does not assess you or your campus, but provides feedback and input on issues and concerns relevant to student learning at the campus and district levels. The information gathered can enhance improvement planning. The procedures for collecting this data are designed to ensure anonymity. The responses you provide can not be linked to you. Only group data is reported to your campus.

Participants should respond to all items individually and independently, as they apply to your particular campus only. Items specifically identified as “District” should be answered as they apply to MISD. Choose the best response that most closely reflects your opinion or attitude regarding the item. “Not Applicable” should be chosen only when an item does not apply to you and not as an effort to avoid giving an opinion.

Instructions for Accessing the Survey

You may access the survey from your campus SchoolFusion website beginning January 21, 2008 through Thursday, January 31, 2008:

Login to your campus SchoolFusion website (if you do not have an SchoolFusion username and password, please contact your campus librarian).
Select the McAllen Professional Staff Survey (MPSS) link, located in the District Resources > For Teachers section.
Read the instructions and begin the survey.

You may access this page from any computer with internet service.

The survey must be completed in its entirety in one session. It should take about fifteen-twenty minutes to complete. If, for any reason, you cannot complete the survey, you can access the survey again at a later time. However, any survey questions you answered in the earlier session will be lost. You will have to begin the survey again from the start. Once you submit your survey, you cannot re-access the survey to complete another session or to change the answers of your original submission.
