Introduction

You and a friend have just witnessed the captain of the football team smoking marijuana.  Both of you are very stunned to see that and ask him if he knew that smoking marijuana was not only illegal but it could have tremendous effects on his body, as well as his mind.

The Big Question.

How will you and your friend convince the captain of the team that marijuana use will effect his body and possibly the rest of his life?
What steps will you and your friend take to change his mind and clean up his life?

The Process
In order to accomplish your task you must first be able to:

1. Know the effects of marijuana
2. How marijuana effects ones behavior
3. How marijuana effects ones health
4. Side  effects of marijuana
5. What type of drug is marijuana
6. How marijuana used
7. Does marijuana lead to other drugs

Your final grade will be on the 2 page paper that you have written and on the project.  You will be given a group grade for this assignment.  You will have two weeks to fulfill this assignment.  You will also be given a copy a rubric for your evaluation.  If you have any questions please feel free to ask me.
 

In conclusion, by the time you have finished this assignment you should have learned a great deal about the uses of marijuana and the effects it could have on your life as well as one of your friends.
