Brown Middle School (BMS) is located in Texas which is the second largest state in the United States. Brown is part of the McAllen Independent School District and is located at 2700 South Ware Road in McAllen, Tx. The campus is located in the Rio Grande Valley, a river delta of the Rio Grande at theTropical Tip of Texas. McAllen, located in Hidalgo county, is a city of almost 100,000. Located just a few miles south is Reynosa, Mexico, a city of one million.

BMS is also located approximately 65 miles from the Gulf of Mexico and the resort area of South Padre Island. South Texas is distinctly bicultural, and many people speak both English and Spanish. In addition, McAllen is currently one of the fastest growing cities in the United States.

Just north of McAllen, in Edinburg, Texas, the county seat of Hidalgo County, one can find The University of Texas-Pan American.

STCC - South Texas Community College - is located in McAllen and has been growing rapidly.
